• Hydration errors — React / Next.js server-rendered HTML doesn't match the client render, throwing a console error and breaking interactivity. Usually caused by typeof window checks, Date-based rendering, or third-party scripts that mutate the DOM.
• OOM / memory leaks — Node process crashes with "JavaScript heap out of memory", JVM throws OutOfMemoryError, or a Go service slowly climbs to its GOGC limit. Caused by unbounded caches, dangling event listeners, or circular references.
• Failing CI builds — works on the developer's machine, fails in CI. Mismatched Node version, missing environment variable, flaky test, or a Docker layer caching issue.
• Runtime exceptions — unhandled promise rejections, null-pointer dereferences, "cannot read property of undefined", or stack overflows in recursive functions.
• Production crashes — the service is up in staging but dies in prod under real load. Often a concurrency bug, a connection-pool exhaustion, or a third-party API rate-limit.
• Build failures — TypeScript type errors blocking the build, Webpack module resolution failures, native module compilation errors, or a transitive dependency bump that broke the lockfile.

• 1. Describe the problem. Reproduction steps, error output, relevant log lines, and what you expected vs. what happened. The more specific, the faster the fix.
• 2. Receive bids. Senior developers review your description and bid with their proposed approach, ETA, and amount. You see each developer's per-language / per-framework reputation.
• 3. Choose a developer. Pick the developer whose expertise matches your stack. Message them before accepting if you want to scope the work further.
• 4. Share repo access. Grant read access to the repo (or a minimal repro sandbox) so the developer can investigate. Use a deploy key or a temporary collaborator invite — never share your password.
• 5. Debug. The developer reproduces the bug locally, identifies root cause, and proposes a fix. You see the diff before it's merged.
• 6. Fix & verify. Apply the patch, run the test suite, confirm the original reproduction no longer fails. Release funds from escrow once you've verified.

• The bug only happens in production under real load — your staging environment can't trigger it.
• It's in a part of the codebase nobody on your team understands anymore (legacy code, departed author).
• The fix requires deep framework knowledge you don't have in-house (e.g. a Webpack config issue, a custom Babel plugin bug, a WebAssembly build failure).
• You need a code review / second opinion on a tricky change before shipping it.
